  1. Michelle, I’ve been reading your articles and posts voraciously. I have been fighting Lyme Disease for four years and have found it to be severely debilitating which is crushing as I have three children under 10 as well as work to manage. The doctors I’ve seen (Family, ObGyn, Endocrinologist, ENT, Neurologists, Infectious Disease) seem to agree that Lyme is permanently “resolved” after treatment. (I had a picc line with Rocephin for eight weeks.) My symptoms essentially disappeared by the end of the Rocephin treatment, but returned within four weeks. I’m not sure where to start or who to contact to pursue continued treatment/expertise in this very murky field. I’ve given up in a way and allowed my symptoms to dictate my lifestyle, but your articles and posts have inspired me to attempt to revisit hope. Any direction you could give me towards resources or providers would be so incredibly appreciated. Please keep writing. I’m sure I’m not the only one for whom your posts are transformative. Best, Sarah

    1. Hi Sarah, so sorry for the long lag in replying–I was traveling and mostly offline:) I am so sorry to hear that you are dealing with Lyme. It IS incredibly debilitating. and long. If your practitioners believe that your Lyme is resolved, maybe you should try a Lyme Literate specalist? I’ve been working with Pacific Frontier Medical, you can google them and if you’re not in the area, I’m sure that if you call (or search their site) they’ll be able to direct you to someone in your area. Don’t give up! It is long, but find someone who will treat you. Also, reiki is heaven. Thank you so much for reading my work! wishing yo the best.

  2. Thank you so much! Keep running and climbing and summiting and writing about all of it. I will track down Pacific Frontier Medical and continue to follow your complete and permanent (from my lips to God’s ears) recovery!
